I have lived at Casa for 17 years. I can say I feel SAFE as we have a Security Team that is tops!
Lately I have had several Dr. appointments and the Transportation Vans have taken me and picked me up. I am comfortable with 'sit back and let them drive', as I feel safe and the drivers are personable.
I am 89 but still like my hair washed and fixed and only walk about 8 minutes to Salon. I sit back and let them do their magic, so I feel younger as I walk out.
Casa is over 30 years old, but they keep it looking brand new, so I feel I
am on a up scale cruise - safe, well fed, and taken care of in every way, especially by our Wellness Dept. EVERY department is a PLUS in every way, Thank You Casa!!!!!

The entire team is there to guide and support you, making sure the decision is truly right for you. Knowing that Casa de las Campanas is San Diego’s only Type A Life Plan Community adds to your sense of security. If you are considering senior living options, I would encourage you to visit Casa. We are helping my parents plan their future home, I have been so impressed with Casa de las Campanas and the people that work there. We have been to many and in different states! Heather Hess, the residency counselor assisting us is absolutely incredible! She is extremely knowledgeable and you can tell she loves it there and makes you so excited for the change. She answered all our questions with patience and made the entire process feel calm and fun. It’s clear she truly cares about the community. Casa is one of the most beautiful properties and best staff we have come in contact with!

We couldn’t be more grateful for the wonderful care my father recently (and my mother last year) received at Casa de las Companas. Transferring from a hospital to a nursing facility can be a long process but when my father arrived after business hours, he found a nice gift bag and a warm dinner waiting for him. From that moment on, the staff made him feel comfortable, respected, and at home.
The meals were thoughtfully prepared, nutritious, and my father enjoyed the variety and flavor. It’s clear that the kitchen staff puts care into every dish, and it shows. The dining area is clean and welcoming — a perfect spot for residents to gather and enjoy their meals with company.
Physical therapy was also a standout part of his stay. The therapy team was not only professional and knowledgeable but also incredibly encouraging and compassionate. They worked closely with my father to build his strength and confidence.
Every staff member — from nurses to aides to administration — were professional and gracious with our many questions and concerns. MJ, the head of administration, was particularly helpful as she was quick to respond to our inquiries prior to admission, and very accommodating both times my parent were transferred there for rehabilitation. Knowing they were in such capable hands gave our family peace of mind.
If you’re looking for a skilled nursing facility where your loved one will be treated with respect, warmth, and personal care, I highly recommend Casa de las Companas.

My mom is currently residing in the Casa De Las Campanas Skilled Nursing Facility. I can't say enough wonderful things about her care. Everyone has been so kind and compassionate. A special shout out to: MJ in Admitting, Mike & Kristie in Occupational Therapy, Jared in Physical Therapy, Cindy and Kyoko in Social Services, and all the fabulous CNA's and Nurses. We are so appreciative for everyone that participated in her exceptional care!

Yes, I made the right decision moving here to Casa. With only my brother in law, living far from here, I gave him a present. I just said, "I'm in a safe place where I will receive care for the rest of my life and you don't have to worry about me". Such was the important part, he wouldn't have to worry if something happened and I needed help. As a retired RN, the availability of assisted living, rehab and extended care, if needed, was within the community. Immediately, i called Casa ...A Cruise Ship without the Water. Everything is here from exercise classes to educational classes. I found the employees to be at the top of the line.. yes, I love my new home with my Casa family .
